Just updated a full install to Turbo extreme v.1, and while everything else is fine, pmount is still a problem. USB devices are not recognized unless they are present at bootup. The USB devices show up in hardware info, but cannot be mounted with pmount, no matter how many times the refresh button ...

Just tried this, and now pmount does not come up at all. If called from the tool bar, the "probing hardware" message comes up briefly, but nothing happens. If I call pmount from the command line, it comes back with an error message. How do I get pmount back? cheers, Paul Never mind this, I got ...

Pmount won't mount USB unless plugged in at boot

I have come across another problem with Pmount. On a recent full install of 4.2 (turbopup extreme beta1), I discovered that pmount could not detect much less mount anything put in the usb port. If I rebooted with the usb device in place, usb devices were detected fine, and could be mounted/unmounted ...

The problem seems to be with the full install. When I use the same cd I used to install to the hard drive as a live cd, USB devices are recognized okay by pmount.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ok, got the spelling working, but cannot get the package to save the dictionary used in the session and use it again the next session. When I restart Oxygenoffice, it reverts to the US english dictionary. I would like it to save the Canadian English setting. Any ideas?

Macpup Opera and Latitude cpi?

I am playing with the MacPup Opera, on a Dell Latitude CPI and for some reason the video player does not seem to work in Opera. When I go to the MacPup website and click on the demo for opera, the viewer area goes white, and does nothing.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance
