Thanks emil. I was just about to buy a new video card. I went to the driver menu in Quickpet and downloaded an updated driver. Stellarium now works! It loads quite a bit faster than the Windows version, too.

Thanks again, you're a Prince!

Will Stellarium 10.5 work without open GL? I currently have Stellarium 10.1 running on my machine - but I have to use windows to run it. If only there was a 10.1 for puppy, I wouldn't have to run Windows at all. :D When I try to run 10.6 in Puppy5.2,I get a "no open GL support" erro...

Good work eztuxer! I've been using various versions of puppy for the past year. Now that my 16 year old son is into recording and editing his music, pupitup has saved the day! :D Thank you for all your hard work. Even my wife reluctantly tried puppy 4.3 a couple of months ago. I put it on a USB stick...

I love Browser Linux, but can't use it as there's no printer drivers. Is there a pet for this? I really wanted this program for my wife as it's so simple to use. For many people, printing goes hand in hand with browsing.

I downloaded puppy from the link on the first page a few weeks ago and Firefox was built in. I then gave the CD to a friend. The other day I downloaded Puppy 431 from a link on Barry's site and there was no FF - just Seamonkey. Are there two different 431's? Where can I download the one with FF? Tha...

I downloaded devx_412.sfs and placed it in /mnt/home/puppy412. The stellarium directory is now in /root. I opened the terminal and typed cd /root/stellarium-0.10.2. I then pasted the command that you gave me and got this error: bash: ./configure: No such file or directory. What now? I'm not stupid,I...

How do I compile Stellarium for Puppy 4.1.2?

I downloaded the Linux source code for Stellarium 10.2. I unzipped it to /tmp.
So it's now in /tmp/stellarium-10.2 along with it's subdirectories and other files. How do I finish the job? From what I've been told, there's only a couple of steps left.

Thanks ,

G_Pup will also work on the Compaq CQ-60. It works on mine.

I got a temporary password and then logged on to my account and changed it back to the original password. Now it works in both XP and Linux. Still don't know why it would work in XP and not Puppy :? . But anyways, it works now. :D

Thanks,

Oh, so THAT's what the word "WIP" means in the changelog!!! I thought everyone knew that, but then again I know people that don't know what MISC means either. :P I know what you mean. To take it one step further, there are even people who do not know what the letters RUDE stand for....

Well, I disabled SMP and it still booted. This leads me to believe it's the newer kernel that's in Ultrapup and G_Pup that allows puppy to boot on the 64bit Presario. Hmm... any other Puplets have that new kernel?

Yes, I booted without SMP support and it worked fine. So it has to be the newer kernel.

Thanks for your help
