Thanks for that link. It looks like there's a patched Atheros driver pet that can be installed as well as a rfkill patch. I will try those before going the madwifi route. D-link DWL-G650 a no go?
I still haven't found a way to get my D-link DWL-G650 PCMCIA card working with Puppy Linux 5.2. I didn't see it in the list of confirmed cards, so I might be out of luck. Pity though since it works fine under Ubuntu and Fedora.

I just download Puppy Linux 5.2. It boots and loads fine and it even seems to recognize my wireless card as wlan0.
