Ok, I deleted the download and downloaded it again. It calls it dillo-3.0-i486-lucid.gz. When I left-click on it, a box comes up that reads Do you want to decompress /root/dillo-3.0-i486-lucid.gz? (it will decompress in current location and the original file will be deleted) Yes/No. Pressing "Yes ...

Here's my take on Mac: I am a 54 year old non-geek. In the late 1990's, my wife wanted a computer to do e-mail, so we bought a Dell with Win98. Lots of trouble, viruses, etc. Bought a new unit in 2000 with WinMe. Lots more trouble. Being non-geeks, my wife took it to the computer repair shop (again ...

Given that we're almost due for the next 90,000 year ice age, I think that some warming would be a "good thing". Amen to that! Global warming would be a cakewalk compared to the coming Ice Age. Does anyone wonder why the early European explorers were so intent on finding the fabled ...

As for Windows, 98SE is indeed installed on that computer with a bunch of drivers (and an XP splash screen for some stupid reason). What's really annoying is that the USB stick driver is not installed.
If it will boot to Windows, try installing the PLOP bootloader, then you can boot from USB.
