I was looking for the source gtkdialog 0.8.4 and I found that it can be found in ibiblio.com ... but to my surprise I found that Barry has a compiled version available at ibiblio as well. What did you need to do to _adapt_ find-n-run for April64? Only a small change to the buttons 'About' and 'Exit' and changed the paths of app ... so simple works well.
