Axel - light download accelerator
I used this on Debian and I couldn't find it for Puppy Linux, so I created a pet. It attempts to speed up the download process by downloading it from multiple mirrors if available. Works well in my experience https://github.com/Byteau/Packages/tree/master/.pet/Network/Axel I have tested this on a fr...

I have been trying to get Tahrpup working on a new Acer Cloudbook and I got lots of Kernel Panics. Mostly it seemed to disappear when I tried a second boot. Sometimes it happened when I had the USB stick plugged directly into the Acer and not when I used a USB hub. Sometimes it seemed to happen whe...

Kernel Panic error.
Hi, I haven't used puppy in a long time, so I thought this would be the best place to post this.
I just did a full install of Slacko64 6.3.0 on My Asus Chromebox CN series. When I try to boot my computer I get a kernel panic error "no working init found"
I have no idea what to do,

Issue with some JWM themes on Tahrpup64
Hi, I don't know where to post this, this section seems to fit the best. With some themes the top bar on a windows with the minimize/maximize/close buttons the colours will be blue (Active window) and a dark gray (Inactive window) instead of the default theme I chose. The taskbar and menu are the th...

What happens if you ignore all the other time settings and use Menu -> Desktop -> Set date and time to show the date and time the way you want? There is no desktop section in the Menu, there is one in the Fatdg64 Control center though. But that doesn't Have an time settings in it. That's only in lo...

Fatdog64 won't show the right time
I have been trying for a while now for the clock to display the right time.
I have made sure the timezone is est/edt but it is still 4 hours ahead on the taskbar clock. Hardware clock is set to UTC. I tried Local timezone, but no luck. Is this a bug or is there something I'm missing?

Steam on Fatdog64 701?
Hi, a while back i installed Fatdog64 on my main rig and I love it. Only issue is i can't seem to install Steam I assumed I could install Zenity from SlackBuilds.org since Fatdog64 uses .TXZ packages.
