I'm on bionicup64 8.0. I'm asking this just out of curiosity. ...

Changed root passwd, anki stopped working

Up until few minutes ago it was working fine. I changed the password of the root and suddenly it doesn't work anymore. I used the option that allows you to open the terminal directly from the directory. The terminal I used to have wasn't like this one I'm showing you in this picture https://postimg....

'xxx*' works only if the part of the name of the file you type (xxx) matches the beginning of the file's name. If you want to find a file typing just part of the file's name you have to type IsReg system(grep -q part_of_the_file's_name "%"). In the image's example (https://postimg.cc/K3Pt7...

Thanks for the answers guys! In other words, you're suggesting to install puppy Linux directly in Japanese, right? If not, I may ask shinobar about installing the Japanese language in an English version of puppy Linux. Sorry guys, I'm not familiar with the OS and am not a native speaker of English :)

Re: How do I pin programs to the horizontal bar?

I tried right-clicking on a program and selecting "stick" but it doesn't work. Not all the programs are found in usr/share/applications... . First, ditto what bigpup wrote. I assume by 'right-clicking on a program' you mean right-clicking on its menu entry. Actually, if an application app...

Hello Valerio. Instead of mouse clks you can just as well create a key-combo shortcut. Use the Pfind program to do searches. menu->Filesystem->Pfind file finder Usually select to search system files is only option needed. When it finds a file or directory you are looking for. Right click on it in t...
