Thank you David for your detailed information, but this stick does not show up in any Distro - Linux and Windows, only lsblk will show that it is there in /dev/sdb. See my post below.

Thank you, David, for your detailed information :D but my drive has no switch to turn the LED off. I will look into Pmount , maybe it does it (like Ubuntu does)?

... If you want a Puppy that is using binaries compiled from source, you could try Wary-5.x or Racy-5.y ....
