Where can I find this image? (Solved)

#1 Post by onequ33rpup »

So I've finally gotten puppy linux to work on my 7 year old ASUS X55CR! It works like brand new after Windows 10 leeched onto it.

However, I am trying to find this image to make as my background without the icons on it and I cannot locate it. Does anyone know where it might be? Image

Assume I know nothing about your computer or chosen OS. Can you provide details?

Distro: BionicPup32 19.03
Computer specs:
Asus X55CR
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2370M CPU @ 2.40GHz
Min/Max Speed: 800/2400 MHz
Current Speed of Core 0:2399 MHz, 1:2400 MHz, 2:2399 MHz, 3:2400 MHz
Core Count: 2

Also, I am booting it from my usb, an 8GB PNY. I think that's everything. Sorry if I left anything out, I'm kind of new to this.

I am warming up from moving snow so I might not see any other replies because there is lots more snow to move.

BionicPup should set the wallpaper you seek automatically. There is a setting to change the desktop icons. Maybe look around and see what you can find

I was able to find the wallpaper finally. Unfortunately it is not a part of the distro I downloads preset wallpapers, but I pulled it from this website. You can even see a puppylinux dev asking the creator if he can use this for marketing in the comments below.

@Gordie thanks for your tips, though. Stay warm!

Hmm, when BionicPup was first released that wallpaper was part of it. Perhaps the owner of the graphic denied permission to use it.
The one I use has it and it really is an important part of it as far as I am concerned.

Glad you found it and sorry I was not able to be of help

The graphic in question is the default background for Bionicpup64_8.0 CE which was developed and is maintained by user philb666.

Bionicpup32 (UpupBB) was developed and is maintained by user peebee. Bionicpup32 does not use the same default wallpaper as Bionicpup64.

onequ33rpup is using Bionicpup32 19.03.
