It's safe now. The Volla Phone will come. Our Kickstarter campaign for the Volla Phones reached more than double the funding target. This confirms to us that there is a need for ease of use and consistent privacy protection.

Helio P23
Supreme Camera Quality, Dual 4G LTE SIM with Dual VoLTE/ViLTE and Class-Leading Power Efficiency
Advanced Photography & Video Features That Deliver Supreme Results

MediaTek’s Imagiq 2.0 system incorporates advanced camera features that brings fantastic photo and video capture effects and experiences to affordable smartphones.

Its 13+13MP dual camera system allows a combination of camera types, including color+color or color+mono sensors, matched with standard or wide+tele lenses for exciting effects such as real-time Depth of Field, incredible low-light performance, multi-frame noise reduction or up to 10x optical zoom. A single camera operating mode of up to 24MP is also supported.

Diverse support for sensor types are supported, including dual/2x1 PDAF or 4-cell, while 3A includes MediaTek’s Instant Auto Exposure (AE), anti-over exposure hardware and accurate point light focusing. The Instant AE is powered by a new hardware Camera Control Unit (CCU), which delivers considerably faster focal correction and exposure adjustment when environmental lighting conditions change suddenly. As such, AE convergence speed is up to twice as fast as competitive auto exposure performance.

The Imagiq 2.0 suite includes technologies that minimize aliasing, grain, provide denoising, chromatic aberration correction and motion compensation techniques, across both normal and low-light conditions. Backed by these technologies the Helio P23 captures rich details and exciting effects in both photography and video, any time you need it.

World’s First Dual SIM, Dual 4G VoLTE/ViLTE Support

MediaTek’s latest generation 4G LTE WorldMode modem focuses on a highly power efficient design. Connectivity performance is balanced, offering a unique combination of Cat-7 (DL) / Cat-13 (UL) speeds at 300Mbit/s download and 150Mbit/s upload. Meanwhile, TAS 2.0 smart antenna technology further adds to MediaTek’s sustained performance and user experience goals, by using the best antenna combination to provide optimal and sustained signal quality at lowest power. For the North American market, the new 600MHz band is also supported.

Both SIM’s with 4G LTE allows dual VoLTE and ViLTE, providing a consistent user experience from both SIMs. VoLTE and ViLTE call setup time is faster and call quality is noticeably better. With 4G LTE benefits, SIM 2 also has better, reliable coverage and lower power consumption than previous generation products.

In addition, multi-GNSS options (GPS/GLONASS or GPS/BeiDou), Bluetooth, FM radio and fast 802.11n Wi-Fi are also part of the Helio P23 platform.

Impressively Powerful yet Power-Efficient

Its eight ARM Cortex-A53 processors operate up to an incredible 2.3GHz (typical) / 2.5GHz (single-core scenario), while MediaTek CorePilot 4.0 technology with power aware scheduling, thermal management and UX monitoring keeps a sustained high-performance and reliably consistent user-experience. Similarly, the GPU has been upgraded to the new Mali-G71 MP2 running up to a speedy 770MHz. The latest LPDDR4x memory (up to 6GB) is used, giving users the best combination of huge memory bandwidth with the best possible power efficiency, while an LPDDR3 option is still available. MediaTek uses the latest TSMC 16nm FinFET production process, powering premium experiences that are also light on battery use.
