Dear woofers!
I have a P4 running uPupBB32 with 2GiB of RAM.
At the moment my save-file is on a thumb drive.
I would like to move it to drive 'a' - sda1.
sda1 is a conventional rotating drive.
What didn't work:
I booted uPupBB WITHOUT the save file.
I saw that the files INSIDE the save file had today's date.
I ignored the 'offer' (by the OS) to configure kdb/country etc.
I COPIED a file called uupubbsave from sdd2 (also called /initrd/mnt/dev_save) to sda1.
I renamed the original file (on sdd2).
I have a FOLDER on sdd2 called 'Bionic_save_file'.
I COPIED the FOLDER to sda1.
I renamed the FOLDER on sdd2.
I shut down The Puppy; I did not make a save file.
I rebooted The Puppy. Puppy believed it was the first-ever boot.
Puppy did not find the save-file on sda1.
Help pls. What did I do wrong?
Thank you. Woof!
Leslie
