Dotpups must begin with UPPER-case, to be accepted by pupget in the case of naming-conflicts.

Use
Jwmxxx.pup, not jwmxxx.pup

Rarsa -

It's all in the name in this case. Pupget checks for clashes between any installed packages and any packages on the live cd. Thing is, it only checks the characters before the first dash it encounters, so it's finding your jwm-xdgmenu package and removing it because it thinks it's the same package as jwm itself. The solution would be to use a slightly different name for the package, for instance use an underscore instead of a dash. So instead of naming it jwm-xdgmenu-0.7.6 you would name it jwm_xdgmenu-0.7.6 and then Pupget will leave it alone.

But make sure and remake the package itself with the correct name, because if you just rename the tarball then Pupget will reject the package when you go to install it (the top level directory must have the same name as the basename of the package).

I just updated the package. I renamed everything th an underscore from a dash. If someone mirrors that would be great. http://www.freewebtown.com/darkerror05/ ... 7.6.tar.gz

Great,

That's a solution. I remembered something like that but faintly.

I still think that it's a bug on PupGet.

Thank you,

I've updated the XDG menus base files to include all the applicaitons on puppy 2.13

As before the packages should work with puppy series 1.x and 2.x .

- copy all the files whitout using packager manager 3 times
- link all the pixmap and mini-pixmap witout coping- paste from forum
- refresh the menu with xfce4_session_refresh_menu

with this pack I spent 2 minuts to install all
