QEMU Puppy Memory

#1 Post by dmarsden »

I have installed QEMU Puppy on my USB flash pen.
When I use it in QEMU mode, it seems to be a bit slow.

Is there a setting some where where I can tell it to use more RAM?

Thanks!

You're probably talking about Qemu for Windows. I'm talking about Qemu for Linux. Maybe the method is the same.

Default memory is 128

To change memory at the -m switch followed by the number of MB you want, sample below.

-m 256

I am talking about QEMU for windows. With the windows version of QEMU-Puppy, I have an executable file "puppy.exe" that also some how calls "allinoneqemu.exe".

Not quite the same a regular QEMU at all.
