CD boots from DVD player but not CD burner (Solved)

from cd burner but will from dvd player.i burnt the ISO to a cd rw and have
been going nuts trying to figure out why it wont boot from the cd burner. i have gone into the bios and looked all over the place and it still wont.
any thought why?

From what you have said I would guess that the system is not booting from the CD Burner, only from the Hard Drive and the DVD drive.

Check the BIOS settings as to the BOOT ORDER, and if that does nothing you could try unplugging the power cable from the DVD Drive and see if the BIOS then boots from the CD Burner.

Some newer systems only allow you to specify 2 boot order items and they also some times select the items themselves and do not allow manualy configuration.

i got it. i had to pull the cd burner out and set the jumper to master and the dvd to slave.
