i've fashioned a simple desktop from the already terrific Puppy we know and love. i made it to be a clean, fast, aesthetically-pleasing os to give to others; so it includes some common apps.
here are the highlights: ... iso weighs in at 74 MB
-stripped down (based on Empty Crust 1.0.7)
-XFCE window manager (with easy menu editor)
-Firefox 1.5.0.1 (with flash and gxine plugins)
-Thunderbird 1.5
-Abiword 2.4.1
-Perl 5.8 (so you can use ndiswrapper right away)
-Graveman 0.3.8 (and upgraded burniso2cd)
-Gxine 0.4.6 (with many added codecs)
-Mtpaint 2.10
-GQview 2.0.1
-some cleaned up graphics and stuff...
-... and of course, it still has all those other terrific Puppy qualities (stability, excellent hardware compatibility, helpful forum support, pupget management, etc.)
here is a screenshot (i'm currently running it now in ram)

i'd like to know how it works on other machines.
let me know if there's interest in it, and i'll find a way to host the 74 MB iso.
thanks,
Tim
