Winetrick's GUI requires Zenity
Hi Green-dome,
First let me thank you for your wine pets which I use all the time.
My apologies about the following. It is from memory. I intended to post immediately, but got distracted: only remembered when I ran across another post about wine.
I think your latest wine pet may have already solved this problem. But in some of the earlier ones, if you clicked the winetrick's menu link only a notice would appear indicating that it required the install of zenity. Zenity can not be found in any Puppy repo. Googling for it revealed the attached ubuntu deb, which, I think, solved the problem. I don't recall it being specifically limited to Puppies using Ubuntu sources.
Warning: Before installing the deb, note the ambiguity of above statements and create a protected copy of your SaveFile.

menu entries for wine
G'day green_dome,
Thanks for continuing to compile the ever-improving wine.
I like the Utility menu options for the various functions within wine being there and as they are.
If any change was needed so the 'Utility' menu box was smaller , I would suggest a separate wine menu/category from within the Utility menu classification.

When compiling, I used
Menu entries, Color Setter, and other stuff I got from the file 'winegoodies.tar.gz' provided by forum member 'technosaurus'.
I only made a few changes to the contents of that file.

I use the console to install packages from winetricks. For help with this I use
[Reference]
wine-1.3.37_v1
version 1 | stripped=true
wine-1.3.37_v2
version 2 | stripped=false
md5 | hashdeep
When submitting bug reports to WineHQ, it appears a non stripped Wine provides more information than a stripped Wine.
Non stripped = better for squashing bugs.

winehq.org has binary distributions for Debian, SUSE, Mandriva, Slackware, and so forth. Naive question, maybe, so feel free to apply the 2x4 if appropriate - but is there any chance of getting your .pets added to Wine's official binary list? I guess that would entail registering as an official maintainer of Wine for our favorite distro.
