How to use Trust Mini graphics tablet in Slacko 5.3.1?

#1 Post by SirEdwinCBE »

Currently using Puppy Slacko 5.3.1 and everything works great on my Acer Aspire One netbook. I've had problems getting my tablet to work - it's a Trust Mini Widescreen 16485 - I THINK I can get Linux support by getting a Waltop driver (the OEM) but am not sure on the process involved.

I just need the tablet to work like a mouse would - no pressure sensitivity or extra functions required. Just looking to be able to draw on the tablet, and see that reproduced onscreen - is there any internal Linux magic that could make that happen?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried menu->Setup->Mouse/keyboard Wizard->Configure your touchpad?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)

You can try installing wine then install the driver within wine. Good luck.
