hey shea
click the connect button from the desktop
it will search for eth & wlan's
click wireless
scan
select wireless network
if password needed select appropriate security wep/wpa and enter password
save profile
use this profile
auto dchp
and you should be done
[from memory - hope that's the correct order of things]

The Broadcom wireless cards have been a challenge to get to work. What is the model #of the wireless card. Are you using Slacko 5.5? You can try ndiswrapper. Another thing is to order a different wireless card and install it (which is usually very simple). Usually the intel cards have better support. Finally, another option is to use an external USB dongle, which is supported by Slacko.

Hi Shea, welcome to puppy. Try here: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=421596
Hi Shea,
I have a Dell Mini 10 and it used the Broadcom 4312 wireless chipset. Apparently a very difficult chipset to get working on Linux. If the thread given above doesn't work for you, try this thread:
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 13&t=50570
jrb built a Puppy with all the drivers set up and ready to go. Because I spent so much time dealing with this same issue, I've also mirrored the download off my website, below.
Good luck!
