Simpllicity
The only thing I have found that seems to be wrong is your spelling of simplicity
But maybe I am blind for other than orthographics...

No amigo, the wrong things are , there is no trace of it on the forum, the dev's page link goes nowhere , someone who used it right now on #puppylinux is saying it displays slacko logo at boot up and some behind doors activities are going on even though he is getting a kernel panic ,thing is i dont trust it.
It is unusual that the developer (or developers) are not identified on the project website. The simplicitylinux.org website appears to be using a UK host. Is that a possible clue to the identity of the developer?
Classic Opera 12.16 browser SFS package for Precise, Slacko, Racy, Wary, Lucid, etc availablehere :)
DistroWatch does not seems to bother which surprises me.

Their text says Updated june 27 2013
Simplicity Linux is a Puppy Linux derivative with Xfce as the default desktop environment. It comes in three editions: Netbook, Desktop and Media. The Netbook edition features cloud-based software, the Desktop flavour offers a collection of general-purpose software, and the Media variant is designed to provide "lounge" PC users with easy access to their media.
Usually they do tell name of developer and usually with text We are proud to present ...
So why is sneaky that silent about himself. Seems odd to me.

Officially Slackware uses slackpkg. Salix OS uses slapt-get/GSlapt though.simargl wrote:http://simplicitylinux.org
Strange that they describe gslapt from slackware as apt based package manager, I thought apt is package manager from Debian and Ubuntu. We have also put more focus on Gslapt as the package manager rather than Puppy Package Manager because we feel Apt based package managers are far better when it comes to dependencies.
(Glapt is onky a gtk frontend to slapt-get.)
slapt-get is apt-get like package manager (I am not sure if it shares code with apt-get).
....
That guy has been around for a while. He is not sneekylinux but sneeky does know him as well as he knows me. I dont remember the dudes name but he has been releasing his distro based on puppy for a few years. He did have a forum at one time. I remember him cause most of his early releases where all based on macpup.
They seem to be somewhat opportunistic and not very well informed people - probably because they don't seem to get involved in or contribute to this forum that they exploit - if they proceed to their next version as they describe:
work on Simplicity 13.10 starts in earnest. We’ve made rough base image using Slacko 5.5.71 and LXPup by SFS
then they will be going back to ppm and ditching Gslapt.....unless they are relying on Jejy69 (does he know?) bringing out LxPup15....
