Hi,
For photographers, here is a link to JGraphite : http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia ... hite.shtml
With JGraphite it is possible to convert jpegs into black and white photographs with a range of ready-made settings.
The result is impressive, tonal rendering is perfect most of the time.
No installation needed. You can have it in your flash drive and use it. The OS must have Java installed.
MIT Licence.
JGraphite 0.5.8
Thanks! Tried it, has some good presets, simple app for one task only and it's doing it very good, would need to fiddle with lots of settings in gimp to get the same result.

Nice java app, that will be handy, my daughter does a lot of B/W photography, I've made a pet package with menu entry in Graphic.
