Booting in Virtual Box

#1 Post by Evil20071 »

Ok. I know I've done this before. I booted Virtual Box with the Live CD image of Slacko, set up the hard drive image, did the full install like I usually would complete with GRUB, and rebooted... It fails to boot if I remove the CD image from the drive manager.

Any ideas?

I suppose some background info is necessary...

Doing this in Windows, as I had started the file transfer for the Repository in Windows on Filezilla...

Buried on here were some threads about virtual box and slacko not working....a search might bring relief..

Unfortunately since I don't use either I do not have the details in me head....

I seem to remember that Slacko wouldn't work under Vbox.

I think there was a fix. I also seem to remember that the problem did not occur on all machines.
