On shutdown: gets stuck at this message:
Spin down disks..sda sdb sr0
Nothing shows after that. Have to do hard shutdown.

Fatdog64-700 get stuck at shutdown
The next step after showing that "spiinning down disk" is two seconds sleep followed by powerdown. Some laptops sometimes don't do that properly - my laptop is like that (sometimes it does powerdown, sometimes it shows the powerdown message but the screen stays on).

Fatdog's home page http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/web/#forum says:
Which is where I posted the question -?Fatdog64 doesn't have its own forum, instead it piggybacks on Puppy Linux Discussion Forum. Fatdog64 posts are usually found in the Puppy Projects subforum.
