How do I access my SD card when uploading a photo?

#1 Post by Relztrah »

I have a SD card from my camera connected to a USB port which I see on my deaktop as sdb1. I can open it and view files, and even copy files from this SD card to an external hard drive that I have connected to another USB port. But when I attempt to upload files to my cloud drive, I only see the following options in the lefthand column under Places: root, desktop, file system. I don't see an option to open sdb1.

How do I made sdb1 visible so that I can select files from it to upload to my cloud drive?

Hello, Relztrah.

In that panel, click on filesystem on the left, then on /mnt on the right.

Now, all items in /mnt should be displayed in the section at the
right-hand side.

Drag the slider down, you should see your sdb1 flash drive for photos
since it's mounted.

(If you want to make a quick link of it in the left-hand panel, highlight
sdb1 in the right-hand panel, and press the "+" button at the bottom of
the left-hand panel.)

I hope that helps. Bye for now.
