Sadly, the same here in deepest Gloucestershire. It's cloudy and very misty. When ('if') the sky ever clears there is very little light pollution, just the distant horizon and the far, far away city lights. There's just me and a quartet of calling Tawny owls to view the meteorite showers. The Perseid maximum still has a couple of days to go - so, there's still some hope!( it very rare to be cloudless this time of year )
