A note about PayPal...
I use it often, where ever possible to avoid using my credit card online.
Regarding identifying yourself, a PayPal payment has a comments field, so the person receiving the payment can see anything you wish to be known, such as your Forum name.
Done. Sent you another donation.
Over the last year or so, Puppy has become the default OS on my desktop and two laptops. I've made CDs for people and helped them install Puppy as a dual-boot many times.
In an effort to proselytize Puppy a bit, I've also mentioned Puppy *very* favorably in my last 3 books and I'm working on a testimonial web page.
Barry, thanks again. Puppy really gets it done here.

Free is nice, but fair is fair and lip service alone won't pay bills.
Barry turned out a great little product that's become a mainstay here.
That's worth a few bucks to me.
And something I forgot to say earlier...
Here's another Thank you to all those who trouble-shoot and nitpick code and functions and help polish the brightwork.
I also have a crew of volunteer editors and there's really no way to overstate their helpfulness.

Thanks
Thank you Barry and all other Puppy contributors for making a wonderful operating system. I have Precise 5.7.1 and I'm finding it to be fast and reliable. All of the little tools in the menu have proven to be quite useful. Google Chrome and Frisbee are working well (had to tweak audio buffer on Chrome but that was easy).
This OS is worth a donation. Where's the cool place to donate now? I didn't find a donate button at http://puppylinux.com/download/index.html

Don't give me any money, I am retired from Puppy development!Pelo wrote:Link, topic at the top page one, not found I gave some euros to wikipedia, but to give to BK, i suppose it is australian pounds, not easy..
Well, still playing around on the edges, with Quirky.
There are other guys doing lots of development work these days, such as 01micko.
I just looked around on puppylinux.com, can't see a donate button anywhere.
01micko owns the puppylinux.com domain now, it seems that he doesn't want any donations.
Ah ha, there is a donate button here:
http://puppylinux.org/
...but I have lost track, don't know who actually gets the donations on that site.
