You need a wireless router AND a wireless network card for a start.

If you are sure you have wifi in the house and in the machine, it is possible you do not have the right driver.

What card do you have?
Post the details of the card connected to the router in Windows. That will give a clue as to what might be different under Puppy.

Sorry, but That does not really tell us what we need to know.
wireless network card (wireless network adapter wifi antenna for desktop)
Can you tell use the make and model of this?
menu>System>Pup-Sysinfo>Devices may list it.

Slacko 5.3.3 does not have the needed driver for the hardware.
The hardware is probably too new.
So, we need to figure out what driver it needs.

Easy fix is to use a newer version of Puppy.
Slacko 5.7
Slacko 6.3.2
Tahrpup
Xenialpup
Etc....
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
