Hello i do own an clevo laptop with the nvidia optimus and i7 processor with intel hd...
Well as you all may know it sucks alot to have optimus because this thing just doesnt works!
The only distros i was able to make it work was SolydXK, ubuntu mate( this one was a pain) and sabayon ( it made it automatically)
But im more into slack builds now, and found slacko here and im in love with it and do want to use it as my main system !
Can you please insert on all next puppy releases an updated tool to install nvidia proprietary driver and disable nouveau + install bumblebee? its an feature that im in need that solydxk does have, also manjaro have it too.!
I think it will help millions of users!
Also i would Love to see kde plasma version of slacko and more common desktop environments for puppy's like xfce, kde, gnome and mate! please ! thank you so much
Slacko+ Nvidia proprietary driver +bumblebee+KDE please!

Nvidia Optimus support in Puppy has not really been looked at.
Someone with this hardware requirement is going to have to try and get it working.
Want to try?
Getnvidia program can handle getting the Nvidia driver installed.
Here is how to do it:

bumblebee
You can do a search in the Puppy Package Manager(PPM) for a download and install of the program.
Do a database update of PPM before you download, to make sure you get the latest version.
Not sure if the PPM in Slacko will have it.
It is listed in the PPM for Xenialpup 7.5
After that I am no help. I have no idea how to use bumblebee. I do not have a computer that needs it.

About the window managers.
There are some versions of Puppy using some of those window managers.
Look around on the forum for theme.
Understand that Puppy uses JWM, because it is very small in size, requires little resources, and is simple to use. That is a big part of keeping Puppy so small in size.
A lot of window managers are bigger, in size, than all of Puppy.
All they really provide is a different look.
There is a lot of tweaking that can be done to the looks of JWM.
