The forum was out of action for some hours Sunday. John said it was some kind of hosting issue. Give it a few days for the confusion to clear up.

Symptoms make me think either they transferred us to a different server box and it didn't go smoothly, or a hard drive somewhere barfed up a lung.
Just sayin'.

Well, that was interesting. Was the forum down for anyone else today?
Would love to know why, when the techs have a minute... but that's just me being nosy

Oh course if an administrator or moderator announced the problem and the fix, we would not have to be asking each other if the forum was down.
Waiting for someone to post "Is the fourm back up?"

I have no idea why the forum went down today. All I know is, I couldn't get on it this morning, so, figuring nobody else could either, I did something else instead.

Spring daylight savings time reset.
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.

Seems odd that these outages always seem to occur on weekends. Well, the weekend is when the forum is least active, so it works out.

@Flash -- maybe you should ask Murga if his servers have a habit of throwing rowdy drunken weekend parties?

Not happy John.
Just so I couldn't post my usual trash in off topic.

In the last few days here in Sydney Oztralia the Murga forum has
been very flaky.

Me either... was real slow a couple days ago, but my comp locked up shortly thereafter, and upon reboot everything was normal -- so I chalked it up to rather more localized issues than anything on the Web...
