Trivia Question: In the movie Rain Man, Charlie and Raymond spend the night at a cheap motel on their way to Las Vegas. There is a movie playing on the room's television set. Name the movie.
Post a screenshot of that moment.

A method to ensure that you watch some of the best movies ever:
1. Wikipedia the list of all Oscar winners (best picture and winners in other categories). I went through this list and worked from 1950 to date (and a few well-known ones older than 1950). Downloaded about 350 movies listed from the net which I could find. Mostly from hdpopcorns.
2. Check list of imdb's top 250. I've downloaded about 80 from that list as well.

I'm in two minds about 'Oscar-winners'. To my way of thinking, just because the critics rave about something is no guarantee that I'm going to like it.....and in truth, I've frequently been disappointed by such films.

Mind you, my viewing tastes are probably quite odd by most standards, and run mainly to fantasy & science-fiction....

Each to their own!

Ford versus Ferrari. Mostly just Ford and Shelby but not a bad movie.

Dolan's Cadillac. Bunch of cut-off hands terrorising people at the end. Stephen King does write some weird stuff.

the nickel ride 1974
richly told, but bleak tale of low-level gangster life in los angeles.
director, robert mulligan, also directed 'to kill a mocking bird'
youtube has fuzzy copy, much better available on 'ok.ru/video'
cheers, mm
