Puppy 4 and Windows XP
What changes please to install Puppy 4?

One of the first steps in JRV's procedure is to shrink the Windows partition using GParted.
Some people have posted recently that this is causing problems.

It is always safer to create/resize Windows partitions with a Windows tool.
If you don't want to mess with Windows partitions and are happy with a frugal install of Puppy there are a few ways to do it. One is the Lin'N'Win method linked to previously but here it is again:

This has been written for version 4 Puppy (currently 4.2.1) although it works with 4.3.1 so long as you change the filename references.

I can't get these files open
I feel so dumb but could anyone give me the step-by-step instructions on how to open the instructions? Thanks.
