Is Puppy no longer in development?

I have come to experiment with Puppy Linux, and I'm trying to download the latest version.
I am after the Ubuntu-compatible version.
However, when I go to the
Download Latest Release page, I see that the latest version is Tahrpup 6.0 CE, dated 2015 and based on 14.04 (April 2014). That's quite a long time ago.
Am I looking in the wrong place, or is Puppy no longer supported?

try this, Xenial (Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus' LTS, 32bit.
Use Puppy search.

Puppy consists of many different kinds. I'm currently using tahr 6.0.6 32-bit.

What is no longer up to date isn't Puppy, it is the puppylinux.org website.
The official website is puppylinux.com.

Thank you for your comments.
I hadn't realised that the website had been replaced. I found the old one through a Google search. It would be great for the old website to be redirected to the new one!
The Xenial version referred to on the home page of the (old) website says that it is for the Raspberry Pi, which I don't have.
I'm busy downloading the Xenial beta version now, which I would not have managed to find without your help.

puppylinux.org hosts the wiki at
http://puppylinux.org/wikka/ which is being updated by contributors.
The static pages in the site serve to link quickly to other Puppy Linux resources. But you're right, updates are [over]due.
Now in the process of updating/minimizing content of the static pages...

In all honesty, the reasons why Tahrpup is so popular are many. 14.04 is a Long Term Release (LTS), so stability is valued over constant, cutting-edge technology.
Phil Broughton, its developer (also of XenialPup), realised that many people's impressions of anything new tend to be coloured by their initial encounters with said item. Which is, I believe, why he went out of his way to ensure that everything just 'worked', OOTB.
16.04 (XenialPup) is also an LTS release, but at a far earlier stage of its journey. LTS releases just tend to get more & more stable as time goes by.
If you're the sort of person who gets excited over constantly having the very newest, bang up to date software
all the time, you'll appreciate something like Arch Linux, which is what's known as a 'rolling release'. All major components are more or less in the middle of one long, continuous update.
My personal view is that I would rather have something that remains stable. The newest versions of software don't mean very much to me..!
