Distrotest.net

#1 Post by Mike Walsh »

Morning, all.

One of the guys over at BleepingComputer has just posted about this:-

https://distrotest.net/

Quite fascinating. They currently have more than 700 distros available, which you can test on-line, via a VNC direct from their servers. Naturally, Puppy's there (Xenialpup64 7.5 and Bionicpup64 8.0 are both 'present & correct')....but do be warned; response from the servers does seem dreadfully slow.

Perhaps it's just busy ATM; it is the weekend, after all....

Have fun!

Mike.

Thank you, Mike.

Using Xenial 7.5 32-bit on this Dell E6410 laptop.

I tried Raspberry Pi; got to its desktop, but then couldn't do anything.

TinyCore: initial list of how to boot, neither cursor keys not mouse worked, so the default "boot" occurred. Again, I couldn't make it do anything.

Glad you told us about the site.
