I don't have a loose 200 $ and I don't know how to flash a chip.
And most importantly, I don't have a reason to spy on anyone.

That the NSA can make the rice sized bump to look like a flat connection on the MoBo. They are likely coming for .... Well, for someone.

Just when we thought we had the software to protect ourselves.

This hack has nothing to do with ANY OPERATING SYSTEM.
It is a hardware hack/attack to the motherboard and becomes effective as soon as it gets power( possibly even from the cmos battery though that would likely show pretty soon.

The scary part is removeable hardware... like USB sticks, (micro) SDHC chips, CompactFlash, etc.

Just a thought for those that think outside the box
