I'm looking to buy one of these cheapies. Anyone using them. Will it work with Puppy?

I have a cheapie tv pen drive adaptor. Works fine. The hardest part is getting the channels.

I found a thread on here that gave instructions on how to do that, which created a channels.conf file, which I can open using a few different media players (I use VLC).

Of course, the channels.conf file is different for different locations around the state, country & world.

I have a Kaiser-baas 1008 I use with gnome-mplayer (or xine if I want to record). Works well. Need to run w_scan to generate a channels.conf file.

The aerial looks FM radio aerial-like. What can I expect as far as reception goes?

I use a normal tv antenna connection. For the small antennas that come with tv sticks you need to be in a very good reception area.
