running zoom meeting has issues

hi,

i have installed zoom i386 deb file in bionic pup.
i installed libxcb-xtest lib also.

when i run it,it throws following error
# which zoom

sankarv, you are not alone. If you search the forum for "zoom," you will likely come across much discussion...long and short, it doesn't look good for 32-bit Zoom. I tried running the Windows version under wine, but couldn't click the link to start a new account. Maybe on your cell phone?

There is hope, as Mike Walsh is working on a solution. (He starts the thread talking a lot about Skype; you have to scroll down a good way to see where he starts talking about zoom). You might want to follow his thread.

Also read through this thread & follow it if it looks promising. It's much about running zoom on 64-bit puppies but there are several relevant posts about 32-bit.

So far I have Zoom running in BionicDog and only that 32bit system - so far Pups are no go.
