Help with wineasio 64 bit

Posted: Wed 25 Jul 2012, 21:53
by pixelblip
Hi there
Sorry if I am making your thread go completely off topic!
Someone suggested I post a message here as you might be able to help...

I am trying to hunt down a wineasio.dll for 64 bit puppy. I've tried various wineasio's that are .deb's in Ubuntu ( 64 bit) but nothing has worked.

Please can anyone suggest where i might find a .pet for Puppy64 bit .......I have posted this question in the Lighthouse64 forum.....

Thanks for your time.

Dear green_dome,

Thanks as usual. I notice this version has paler fonts compared to previous versions. The wine guys must have changed some X rendering feature.

Hi green_dome,
i am just wondering ...
as the wine pets are compiled with xorg_xorg_full_dri-7.3.pet among others, are the wine pets (or sfs) compatible with Xorg version higher than 1.7.3 ?
(Here using exprimo with xorg 1.7.7 with wine-1.1.12 ...such an old version because the sfs size is only 14MB and enough for the Win applications used)

Thanks for all your job !

Even though my name is not green_dome, I think I can help.
It runs for me with Xorg version 1.11.4. Also, version 1.5.13 is only ~24MB.

Dear green_dome,

Thanks for the latest version. I still get ugly fonts - latest few versions - and don't know why. Do you have any idea? I used to get better results by using an older libfreetype (appending the path before launching wine apps), but that doesn't seem to do the trick any more.

When compiling, I used

Code: Select all

./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --build=i486-pc-linux-gnu --x-includes=/usr/X11R7/include --x-libraries=/usr/X11R7/lib --with-x
Menu entries, Color Setter, and other stuff I got from the file 'winegoodies.tar.gz' provided by forum member 'technosaurus'.
I only made a few changes to the contents of that file.

I use the console to install packages from winetricks. For help with this I use

Code: Select all

winetricks -h
