Pretty good review.....except Lucid Puppy doesn't use Openbox/LXPanel........ :lol:

That is an interesting and fair assessment. More oomph can be obtained from the clunkers by adding a modern graphic card and screen and maxing the memory. If booting from media, then DVD booting is faster than CD.

When you upgrade your hardware
or retire your Windows infestation
then Puppy64 in the shape of Fatdog64
awaits your indulgence.
Netbook - try Puppeee if an Asus
and Fluppy if another make.

Want EVERYTHING - try Teenpup (soon to be rebranded)
. . . and that is the surface . . .

What I feel was important in this review
was the recognition
of the kennel support - that is everyone :D

Yes, pretty nice review. It reads like the reviewer did ACTUALLY use Puppy for a while, though missed the point about the simplicity of selecting which browser to install by default, which I feel is a real flagship feature........
