D-Link + Lucid Puppy

Hi all!
I have a D-Link DFE-690 TXD that is seen using 4.3.1 but is not seen by Lucid(latest release) My computer is an old Compaq armada 1700 laptop. Right now I am using a frugal install,dual-boot w2k and grub4dos.
