I have a suggestion..

When doing an extraction from archive --->
If there is exit with error message then the last line in terminal should be
'Please check for sufficient disk space'

Translation into dutch.

I've never done translations, so this is the first and I did it for my favorit pet that is not in woofCE.
I hope it is alright.
I wanted to do something to celebrate the end of the year.

Hmm, there can be many reasons for failure, so strong emphasis on this particular one, every time, could be misleading.
Besides, many underlaying tools/backends already throw an appropriate message in such a case.
However, actually checking if the destination FS went out of space after extraction, could be the way.
I'll put it on my TODO list, thanks.

- check the free space on destination device after extraction and issue a warning if it's used in 100% (thanks to don570)
- can extract UPXed Windows binaries
- AppRun: try to properly handle filenames with HTML % triplets, which are replaced by ROX to ASCII characters
- (un)install scripts compatibile with Fatdog build system
- various fixes and improvements
- new formats/extensions:
  • .fsl (same as .fossil) [fossil]
  • .sar & .sqlar (SQLite Archive) [sqlite3|fossil]

Hi SFR,

Gone back to 3.36 as this one isn't working in 4.31 phoenix - don't know what you changed in it requirement wise - will try in other pups... great program though my goto for extracting .pets etc.

O.k. It is working well in buster - thanks SFR.

Hey Darry,

I just checked and apparently Bash-3.00 in Phoenix doesn't like pipes in regular expressions.
It was just one affected line.

Darren:- Thanks for the warning about 3.37. I've only installed it to one Pup in the kennels so far.....I'll go with the new version, before I get as far as Phoenix..!

SFR:- Marvellous tool, as always with your work. Along with Packit, Lockstate & Magdock, these are some of my most essential, and well-used utilities across the kennels. You and I seem to think along the same lines.....

Hi, SFR. A request. A builtin feature to extract individual files from an archive will be nice. Xarchive does not work well for me (in many cases it does not display all the files in the archive).

Hey Nic007,

UExtract has been designed from square one as "all or nothing" extraction tool, so adding such a feature would be a massive undertaking, I'm afraid...

In Fatdog we switched to Engrampa-1.14.1 (the last version that supports GTK2) long ago, which is much better than Xarchive(r).
The attached is the recipe for Engrampa, which could serve as a guide for building it in another distro, if you'd like to give it a shot.

Before of Uextract I was using Peazip portable which has such a feature.
