All, I've installed projectlibre on precise puppy, so far so good. It looks like a legitimate replacement for MSProjects so far. Take a look.

I have installed the debian archive of ProjectLibre on wheezy-3.5.2.11 - as also jre-1.6.31-dpup.sfs downloaded from dpup Pemasu's repo here

It runs nice ...but... runs too, too slow [ - i.e. scroll up/down and left/right using a project having about 30 tasks (my PC is PIV 2,5MHz) - ] with regards to Gnome Planner (embedded in wheezy-3.5.2.11 and recents Puppies).

as you've already installed java, you might also have a look at ganttproject:

Have a look to Planner too, included in many Puppies, menu Business. Light but enough, perhaps ? (gantt project included).
