Puppy Linux en Español - Full Spanish version Puppy Linux
Hi all Linux users,
I seem to have issues downloading Spanish language packs for the new Puppy Tahrpup.
Is there a Puppy Linux entirely in Spanish without the hassle of downloading the seperate language packs for each application and interface, as I still cannot get Puppy to be cmpletley in Spanish without download errors, non-existing language packs, for certain programs, etc.
As a result, I have virtually all of Puppy in English and one or two applications in Spanish.
Any suggestions?

Spanish version of Puppy
Thanks for your reply.
I'll have to look into it so as to see possible compatibility issues with certain peripherals, if compatible with WiFi access to the Internet as well as LAN, etc., etc.
Clicked on the link provided by you, then selected the .iso image to download, then has taken me to: https://yadi.sk/d/zTaxv7WffdarR, and now I cannot download the iso file for some reason for which I am looking into.
Isn't there an alternative URL so as to download the 'Pjibaro_29032015.iso' file?
Regards.

Hello whizzkid,
The Puppy Linux language packs translate applications and interfaces present in Puppy Linux. If you install additional programs, you have to make sure there is a language pack for those programs --the NLS pet packages usually have the translations.
Most available language packs have over 90% of translations completed, so the only way you could still get a puppy install virtually in English is that you used an old langpack from the PPM.
The up-to-date Spanish langpack for Tahrpup is available here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3d5plz0l6cpgc ... 5.pet?dl=0
Nilsonmorales has already suggested PupJibaro, a derivative with builtin Spanish language support. It is a good choice! PupJibaro includes a QuickPet installer with a selection of software in Spanish. However, remember that some programs installed separately may still need their own language pack.

Thanks., Now, moving onto Pupjibaro, all I need to know is how to install it on the hard drive as although booting from a live USB, I cannot seem to install it permantly on the hard drive, neither mount it.
OS doesn't seem to 'see' a hard drive, whereas I was able to install Puppy on hard drive from a Live CD/USB and via the universal installer.

menu--configuracion--Puppy Universal Installer
