Hello ! I follow all the istruction of the first post and all is ok (Fluxbox+ menu icons) But when I restart the laptop the menu icons disappears and I must write on the terminal "jwm2fluxbox". Can someone help me please ? I think Fluxbox is the best for Puppy :lol: I have now Puppy 4.0+Ez...

edit: I do it some minutes ago follow the istruction... a new fresh install is better: works only jwm and conky,no picture on the desktop and all become very slow

If I install ezpup how can I switch to another wm ( like jwm or fluxbox ) ?
and is possible to have a battery indicator on the icewm bottom bar ?
the new conky here don't work

How is possible to have the icons in the menu using fluxbox or openbox ?
Like in Puppy 1.x or 2x using fluxbox.

I'm using Puppy 4.0 Dingo.

Today I've come back to Icewm and all is Ok !!!
And I don't know why !!!
I think I stay with this wm and with rox 2.3 because they work well togheter.

I've yet discovered another thing: if I use Fluxbox after the booting of the laptop I've the same problem of Icewm or Jwm (the screen become in fluxbox gray whitout icons),but when clicking the right button of the mouse the menu stay fix on the desktop and work very perfect and...after the x-restart...

added modprobe battery and modprobe thermal to my rc.local. Then enabled the outputs in torsmo...voila. Problem solved. Greetings ! My name is Paolo and I'm a new user of Puppy.
