I am now happily posting this in XenialPup on wi-fi!

No wireless switch on this model, just the keyboard combo, which has no effect in Puppy. Interestingly, the wi-fi light is on, and I am posting this running off of a live boot of Bionic dog, and still no wi-fi.

Broadcom BCM4352 troubles under Xenial PAE
Hi Folks - I just picked up a Dell E7250 off eBay for a STEAL ($200 with warranty until August, and ownership legitimately transferred to me by Dell - off lease machine that was OBVIOUSLY kept in a dock for a year as it is seriously brand new looking...).
I slapped an SSD into it, and it flies. Got ...

Sooooo.....PWidget modified for regular Conky?
I'd like to modify some Pwidgets for use in "regular Conky" so I can use the code as a script for other distros. Specifically, Weather2, which works beautifully, and gives me just what I'm looking for.
Has anyone done this?
Any and all advice is welcome, thanks!

Hey thanks for the post musher, but I'm an "old dog", so I knew about the save file. I just had my install *perfect* so I just did not want to have to reconfigure/reinstall everything.
I'll try the trash refresh tonight - thanks for the tip!
At some point, I am going to make a weekend project out ...

Strangest thing with the Trash Can...
I have no idea how this happened, but can anyone tell me how to restore the proper trash can to the desktop? Mine turned into a useless folder, and I am afraid to delete it for fear of breaking the system, which is otherwise just as I want it.
It does not exist in /usr/share/applications.

2 Color themes
Well, I answered my own question, and just created a couple of theme files that are close to the original greyscale theme. Just copy to text, and save in a folder with the filename "main" in usr/local/pwidgets/widgets/themes/yournameoftheme. I just call these Greyscale, and Grey 2 respectively ...

Mystery text
Hey - That mysterious "7" is an orphaned character in the configuration file for the pmusic widget.
Just click "pmusic" on the left side, and then file-->show widget(s) config file, and you will see the number 7 kicking about on the first line of the last section like this: ${color2}${font ...

Solved!
Thanks man. That was EXACTLY what it was!
There was an entire configuration adding a second tray with autohide=true.
This is what happens when I save stuff for years and cobble together frankenpuppy... I have config files that I saved from 2006...lol. The theme I use for pwidgets I think I made in ...

I ran top, full screened it, and there was a single instance of wbar. When I killed it, it closed the bottom dock, as suspected...

Same issue as PenguinPupLin
I have the same issue as PenguinPupLin. My Puppylinux widget truncates the version to 5...4.
Is there an edit to the config file to fix this? I have tried changing size, borders, font, font size, etc. to no avail.
