Got it running xampp now :) so im testing it as a forum server too:)

it seems to be working :D

but i have a few problems that need fixing like avatar uploading, and linking.. it wont allow them :?

gallery avitars are ok tho :)

and my isp blocks smtp out :(

unfortunatly more ram is not an option :(

usb stick seems the only option..

if i do find a suitable replacement, ie another usb device, how would i mount it as swap and get puppy to use it?

Thanks to Puppy Linux I am now running a Webserver from a beat up Compaq Armada1750 300Mhz 64Mb laptop, with no hard drive, booting partially off of cd, then from a 1Gb Usb key, and running httpd.. With web site stored on a second 1Gb usb key :D ... this puppy seems to be the only linux to pull thro...

kool :) thnx :) i dont particularly like running it without a firewall.. but i had to do so to test that the ftp server was working.. and it does :)

now i'l try wat u suggested, hopefully iy will work.. :D

how do I allow ftp access through puppys firewall? I have the ftp server running, and my router is set up to forward to it..
