the problem was that he saved to sdax instead of a save file as he stated. most likely not a good idea to save to hd if another os lives there. Yes. that is what i did wrong. do i need to reinstall ubuntu now? i rather just figure out the files puppy overwrote and then maybe try to repair them if ...

I am staying in a temporary apartment with wpa-psk network and am having trouble connecting with puppy. On windows it does connect, the network is listed on the windows box as being WPA-PSK and encryption of TKIP. I merely enter my network password and am on. On puppy I tried doing the same, but to ...

I picked the harddrive....I think this is what screwed up ubuntu. when i restarted puppy after that save i ...

Linksys WUSB54GC
The WUSB54GC works on puppy 430, but now well!! Sometimes the rt73 driver will not even load and ndiswrapper is a no go. If i have a very good signal it seems stable enough, otherwise it is very flakey and intermittent.

I have a 4 socket USB port which works intermittently. sometimes when i plug it in the devices, which i plug into it (e.g wireless, jump drive, etc...) are recognized and work, while other times not. regardless kernel messages from dmesg seem to suggest that the USB port is always detected. First, I ...
