So you don't want to use rox-filer, which comes standard with puppy, is fast, and is really easy to use?

Rox is Menu->Filesystem->Rox-Filer File Manager

How to use 3d for Mobile Intel 945G Video Card

I'm using a mobile intel 945g video card and for some reason i don't have 3d capabilities. I was wondering if anyone had a .pet or sommat so that i could use the 3d capabilities of this card. I tried to build mesa but that didn't work out. I'm pretty sure that we've had 945g support since the 3.01 s...

Problem with Wine on Acer Aspire 3680

I have loaded wine onto my laptop (acer aspire 3680) and when i try to run one of my games on wine, it says pixelshader 2 is required. However, when i load it on my xp (dual boot), it runs fine. I have come to assume that this is a computer problem not a wine problem, because the appDB says the game...

ttuuxxx, the entire devx package is preinstalled in the pup_400, along with the linux_headers package, so most of your requests should be covered, though i'll check the package list. I know autoconf/make is installed from devx. aragon, if i uninstalled firefox, then how would they get to the interne...

I have created some more packages, but have one question: For one, doesn't puppybasic come already with the standard build? I have kept all the core and devel packages, so shouldn't puppybasic come already? Secondly, has anyone who may have tested this file find bugs? Finally, this is a very large i...
