This is interesting, as many would possibly like to launch spinnoff or whatever, where the non competent user can know for sure their Puppy Live WILL NOT even attempt to spinn the HD for even a second, giving them assurance against any interference with their paid and sometimes precious Windows inst...

Any takers for this Linux Malware Detection(LMD)?

I am not competent to say like "Yes this is it"... But as usual the promotion text suggests that. But as Puppy Linux is growing with maybe a 100 000 new user every week, we might get targeted right?

Since i do remastering for others to use, I always start of with a fresh clean ISO to start with. Assuming its 5.2.8, and I already got that "installed" with passwords and files in the system, I just add a x in the file names so .sfs becomes .xsfsx and it that way i preserve my working OS ...

I consider Android useless and totally without any value what so ever without their apps. Android is just a carrier for many many apps that people likes and if I could run apps and just that it would be great, but if I can run android "as a app" that would be what comes after great. In thi...

If this docker thing works with Kali, I guess it would work with Android x86 as well if they did the same as Kali have done. And then as I see it, Android x86 might become a SFS? Anyone out there that is competent to look at how Kali did their docker and webbrowser thingy? I am still at the "tr...

Without having any competence or knowledge about cryptology or such I can recall my nerdy friends back in the 90s or might even been around year 2000 that we should use PGP to communicate. The very moment i understood that I needed to provide my secret key to a "trusted server" i lost inte...

I think Hillary is doomed now... Not by here email scandal or Benghazi, but by the fact that she might have seriously misused her position as Secretary of State in order to provide kickback or pure favours to donors of Clinton Foundation. And that ladies and gentlemen, is very serious corruption. My...

Welcome... This might sound rude, but did you check if your Wifi is physically switched on either in the bios, at your computer keyboard or if present, small button somewhere in the front of the PC? As for the post and if its right here or nor, the answer i think is not, but that is ok. The proper p...

Hi there... I have used Fatdog64 for many years and its marvellous. If you messed up the installation, you should just do it again and seek advice in stead of giving it up. The maintainer of Fatdog, JamesBond, does a heck of job. Please know if you can not install fatdog you not very likely to insta...

Battery saving... a new trend

Just noted that there is a lot of talk about web browsers and battery savings. If I am not wrong Puppy should be the perfect platform to have a official release where this is a issue and that we ALL work together to achieve better performance and less usage of power. Now better performance might be ...
