@ Leon: I was getting that error too. I don't know why it happens but it doesn't mean xampp is broken. Just rename all the folders in /opt/lampp/htdocs to something else (or just delete them if you're brave xD) and then make a new (empty) xampp folder, put a test index.php (or whatever) file inside ...
