It's wonderful to have hiawatha in Puppy. I'm too stupid to get PHP working with it. Can someone explain it to me?

Hi, I don't know about ffmpeg's difficulties with flac. I got all my flacs also in mp3 files so I could try Pmusic. After some tries it did index my about 7000 mp3 files. Pmusic freezes occasionally my machine but not if I run it from commandline. On the first run Pmusic didn't read metatags of mp3 ...

Many of those are nice and beautiful and filled with extreme features and does everything you can imagine except play or manage your music. I have lot of tagged flacs in directories like performer/album/ I'll try Pmusic ...

Lost usb ports
Suddenly they are all gone. Puppy doesn't find USB's on my computer. Could it be some hardware problem? Quite harmful, I have USB printer and so on. Can someone guess what has happened?

Have you tried Audacity? You can do it with sound editors like that. I don't remember how it was exactly done - it could be that you have to record the midi tracks to wav. Import midi file to program and then record it. Just now I don't have any sound editor installed so I can't check this out. I'm ...

I fixed the menu entry. And one other thing ... oh me, how absent-minded I can be. But now it should be OK. It needs snack for sound. I have here snack 2.2.5: http://taavi.org/pet/snack-2.2.5.pet Testing sound with my own machine worked. I have not tried it in practice. Please have mercy on me. Taavi

JavaTunes is a java player/jukebox not gorgeous looking but a working one. Can be found here: http://www.stigc.dk/projects/JavaTunes/ I managed to make a dotpet from madman music manager. I dare to give you a link here to get it, but remember, this is my first one. I tried a few packages and if I ...

It's speaks finnish quite well. Just a quick test - I guess it could be better with some trimming. This is nice surprise - my language is not world wide spoken and as it's a small language it's not usual that these programs can do it. In fact among the free programs there are very little finnish ...

As I live here in Inari Finland with one of my children and her big brother and little sister live 900 km's south from here, we'd like to have a working software for our family communication. I've been installing and trying some applications and had some irritating times with them. We have been ...
