scans ok
it can scan for a network, ( and finds all the wireless devices around.
but when I set up the profile, and click use profile it runs a test which fails.
but if after this I click on auto DCHP and it gives me an IP address, but that seems to have no use.
what does that mean?

oh yeah a bit more detail
pppoe worked, I got to that through the network wizard, but that was just plugging the comp direct into the router. I also tried plugging the ethernet into the router, which had the same kind of effect, just with ethernet. said it was connected, but it was only pretending. I couldnt even access 192 ...
